We left The Lalit hotel in Delhi about 10 after a leisurely morning. The drive was long, the scenes the same all along the highway. As we moved from the city to the country, the tall towers of flats and office buildings give way to fields and roadside shops. Scooters with women and children with three and sometimes four travel along the highway along with trucks and cars.

The image I wish I got was the one like the first below, but the child was younger and barefoot and you could only see the tiny lower leg and foot sticking out.
We did have this crazy rest stop, reminded me of Scandia or Alice in Wonderland, it was like stepping into a different world.
