We started bright and early. Karen and I were the second down to breakfast in the morning and snagged this lovely garden side table. Too bad the breakfast wasn't as lovely today.
We started bright and early. Karen and I were the second down to breakfast in the morning and snagged this lovely garden side table. Too bad the breakfast wasn't as lovely today.
We headed straight through town to the Imposing Amber Fort. India sure knows how to do their forts. We took the elephant ride up the hill, and before, during and after the salesmen were out full force selling their wares. They were intrusive and insistent and we're definitely an irritating part of the travel adventure. Those people at the shops in the casino that try to lure you in for a beauty treatment got nothing on these guys. The fort and palace, impressive.
