Today is a lazy day, we need our rest before celebrating Diwali tonight. After breakfast at the hotel we relaxed; I read and my parents caught up on their pictures. We were graced by the presence of a window washer just hanging out like he's rock climbing. We watched the ropes a while before he appeared from the floor above.
We walked down the road to a little circle for lunch at the Bengali Sweet House. Every rickshaw driver tried to get all 7 of us to squeeze in as we walked by. Lunch was delicious street food, now served in a restaurant these days. I have no idea what I ate, but it was good. Tara did her magic, here's four servers making sure she's well taken care of along with a couple of the courses for those foodies out there.
And then next door we picked up some sweets at the sweet shop for gifts for the Diwali celebration. They were doing a very brisk business in there, you pick your own sweets, fill a box, and then they shrink wrap your box and send you on your way.
And now nap time before celebration time.
