That night after our whirlwind tour through Jodhpur, we drove for a couple hours to Khejarla and stayed there two nights. It is rather remote so the pollution is little, relatively speaking, and we could see the stars. I missed the morning outing, my first and hopefully last bout of being sick. The afternoon we went out in a jeep and drove off road a bit looking for hoofed wildlife and then we visited a cluster of family homes to witness, but not partake in a welcoming opium ceremony. Their homes were spotless, the kids adorable.

'Safari' through the farm land, including some off-roading into the fields.
We them headed to a temple on a unique rock formation to watch the sunset. There is a three day festival so they had tents and lights set up.
